Item Description
Lot of two. 4.5x5" paper fans on 8" sticks. Both have domed celluloid eyes with black pupils that can move. First shows Betty Boop with exaggerated head, two Mickey Mouse-like characters at her feet playing squeeze box and banjo. Second has Popeye with exaggerated head. Pupils on both move freely. Both are marked "Importe Du Japon." Unliscensed. 1930s. Split on paper of Betty where fan attaches to stick. O/w clean, bright, VF. From the Gary Selmonsky collection.
