Item Description
21x27.75" stone lithograph poster w/"D.C. Humphrys Co." at lower right. A fantastic profusion of colors featuring a 3/4 view of Teddy Roosevelt steadying an American flag that wraps around a keystone featuring Pennsylvania candidates Edwin Stuart, Robert Murphey, Robert Young and Henry Houck. Text reads "For Progress Protection & Prosperity" and "Vote The Full Republican Ticket Election Nov. 6th 1906". Less than 2" vertical tear at bottom center extending into the "B" in "Republican" and a less than 1" vertical tear at top center. Small 3/4" section of missing paper at lower left corner. Reverse has old tape residue across top and three 3.5" vertical strips at bottom right, center and left as well as 4.5" horizontal strip. These defects detract minimally from the stunning and often subtle color. A truly special poster that would stand out in even the most advanced collection. Additional photos online.
