Item Description
21.5x32". Paper poster mounted to thin board long ago. An expansive scene featuring crowds gathered around three trains each with candidate delivering a speech. Cartoon Bryan has over-sized "Peace" feather in his top hat. Roosevelt is depicted in Rough Rider uniform firing two revolvers and saying 'Yip! Yip!! Yowee!!! What'll It Be Boys? Water, Grape-Juice or Blood?". Wilson depicted at top center addresses the largest of the three crowds saying "Our Country Must Be Prepared To Uphold It's Honor! Without Adequate Defense Measures My Hands Are Tied". Minor toning at edges and some tiny tears in margins stabilized by mounting. Overall an impressive graphic poster. Displays VF. Julie Powell Collection.
