Item Description
15.5x18.5". Of the few varieties of Cox & Roosevelt posters this is one of the most magnificent. Candidate's portraits in oval frames flanked by American flags floating above the Capitol. At the bottom are portraits of Cleveland, Jefferson, and Wilson. Additional background imagery includes factories labeled "Prosperity" and a farm scene labeled "Peace and Plenty". Very faint 1/4" line of discoloration around edges from early matting that is noticeable upon close inspection and tiny less than 1/4" loss of paper at bottom left corner. Otherwise only trivial handling wear. Extremely Fine. See also lot 85 for Harding/Coolidge mate.
