Item Description
First is 7/8” with woman displaying a shoe with the name Five Star and with back paper naming maker as Brown Shoe Co. who also issued the two following buttons. Next is also 7/8” and one of the very earliest “Buster Brown Shoes” buttons. Reverse carries company name and 1904 patent date. Button is from that era. Next from just a few years later and with a 1” tear on the Bastian paper is superbly colored and designed 1.5” button showing both Buster and Tige winking at the viewer. Button with the lady has barely seen 1/16” cello crack left of her neck but it still displays essentially Mint and the other two are NM displaying Mint.
