Item Description
The badge is about 1.75” wide and reverse has bar pin plus second bar suspending pair of lightly worn 2” fabric ribbons. The inscription on the hanger is hand engraved. It names a philanthropist and co-owner of the Philadelphia Public Ledger newspaper. The figural bicycle is highly detailed and perhaps done in gold plate. Early 1900s. Rare.
