Item Description
7.5x14.5” tall large book with die cut edge published by Raphael Tuck, undated but from early 1900s. There are various winter or Christmas related verses and each page is illustrated with several in wonderful color. The twelve interior pages have popped loose from the cardboard cover and the cover itself has a split spine with exception of about 4” at the center. Couple of small cover creases and a 1” tear on reverse with pair of chipped corners at the top left. Still quite clean and the interior pages are Exc. The additional items range in size from .5” to a 2.25” tall celluloid on stickpin. The two smallest items have brass ears on the back and these were used to hold celluloid covers on ink blotter sheets. Next is a gorgeous color cello on short stickpin with reverse text advertising “The Sweeney Co./The Christmas Store.” Flag shows Santa in an auto. Tiny bit of age upper left. Next are a pair of die cut Santa’s both with short stickpins and advertising on the back for Bowmans. Next is brass token showing Santa and from a jeweler. Next is a spinning top. Faintest trace of age on the white background. Next are three scarce American Red Cross buttons dated for 1911 and with the 1914 and 1915 buttons showing Santa. Last are eight different TB annual buttons with the first from 1921 in celluloid. The others are litho and in order from 1928, 1929, 1938, 1940, 1944, 1951 and 1971. All of these are Exc. to Mint. A very nice group.
