Item Description
Original 10.75x14x6.5" deep illustrated cardboard window box contains approx. 11.5" long "Pinto Funny Car" 1/12 Scale replica of Bill Schifsky's drag-racing Pinto that was sponsored by Cox and painted w/their logo. No. 6500, a "Gas Engine Powered-Fast Action Dragster." Car required fuel and battery. L.M. Cox Manufacturing Co., Inc. c. 1973. Box has remnant of original store price sticker on side and remains tightly sealed w/original shrink-wrap, though tightness of this has caused some warping to cardboard display box. Back corner has 6" split to shrink-wrap and another corner has .75" split at corner w/corner wear to box. Packaging is Fine overall. Car has opalescent plastic body that lifts up, racing slicks and automatic drag chute. NM. Gary Keller Collection.
