Item Description
Each piece is from the mid-1930s. The figure of her doing a curtsy is 1.75” tall. Her blue sailor-style dress has an anchor emblem at center. Couple of near microscopic craze lines in the enamel, mostly on her legs and barely showing at all. The piece is NM and we’ve seen only a couple in four decades. The piece almost never seen, and this may be the one we sold some 30 years ago, is a 1-1/16” dia. brass pin w/blue rim text “Shirley Temple’s Pet Rowdy." The dog is die-cut and posed w/front paws over lower edge of the pin as if he is peering through the circle. Near microscopic speck of enamel off one eyebrow and one claw of one foot but hardly detectable. Beautiful glossy enamel w/tan accents plus tiny touches of red on the dog’s eyes/mouth. Rare pair.
