Item Description
This 1940s ring, probably from a candy maker, has a brass adjustable band base with side designs the same as the Kix Atomic Bomb Ring. The ring top is also somewhat similar in concept although this is a larger piece with two-thirds made of aluminum which has a noticeable notched cut-out on the top and a tiny opening in the front so that when blown into it produces a high-pitched whistle. The other end of this piece has cream-colored plastic cap featuring 4 tailfins like a bomb and this end piece glows brightly in the dark. This piece is also removable so that the interior of the bomb-shaped piece might serve as a secret compartment although that would likely change the whistling function. This is an Essentially Mint example of one of the rarest rings. Our last sold example realized $2,300.00.
