Item Description
Large and impressive display is 10x28x9.5" deep with clear thin plastic cover over cardboard base and backdrop. Designed w/additional 7.5x28" thick cardboard sign that hangs down in front of the display. This pictures 65 different vehicles w/their names under images. This has come loose but could be reattached. Also has 1" sliver of surface paper missing at top right corner. The backdrop has illustrations of vehicles on different roads and attached to this is a white plastic track that blends into one of these roads to give a "seamless" appearance. Attached to this track as well as the base around it are the vehicles which are mounted as issued with foam strips. One car on the track has come loose but remains on the track (although this may not stay in place during shipping). The full list of 16 vehicles includes Paddy Wagon(blue), Mighty Maverick(yellow), Sand Crab(Aqua), Jack Rabbit Special(white/blue stripe), Dump Truck(brown), Ambulance(green), Swingin' Wing(green), Firechief Cruiser(red), Classic Nomad(rose), Tri Baby(yellow), Mantis(lavender), Porsche 917(silver), Whip Creamer(hot pink), Hairy Hauler(rose), AMX2(olive) and Ferrari 312P(blue). The cover has trace of aging and edge wear and a few small indents really only visible in reflected light. All remains sealed as issued by staples. VF appearance overall. A few cars have typical paint age toning but overall display Exc. to Mint as issued. All Hot Wheels store displays are very rare and highly sought after and this 1970 version is among the best and most desirable. This could easily become the focal point of your collection.
