6x15x3.75" deep illustrated cardboard display box contains 12.5" tall "Posin' Doll." Part of a series of four released by Ideal, ©1967 NPP. Due to success of Ideal's "Captain Action" toyline, a line for girls was developed - "Super Queens." Series included - Batgirl, Supergirl, Wonder Woman (see item #2229) and Mera (Aquaman's wife), who is offered here. Mera comes w/trident and crown in addition to her comics-accurate outfit. Box features die-cut image of Mera w/her and Aquaman's son Arthur Jr. (Aqualad is seen in foreground and Aquaman waves from bkg.) at bottom left-hand corner. Comic strips appear on side panels. Box is still factory-sealed and has warp to side panels and 2" creases at front center of each side. "Mera" name at top front has faint vertical crease due to tightness of shrink-wrap. Top side edge seams of shrink-wrap each have .5" split/opening as sealed and shrink-wrap has original store price sticker above "Posin' Doll" die-cut tag in display area. Shrink-wrap has tiny .25" indent at bottom center (just above die-cut image area at lower left, but o/w box remains tightly sealed. Exc. Doll is in choice, Mint condition as packaged and colors are as bright as the day it was produced. The "Super Queens" line sold poorly and was canceled after just one series, making them quite rare.
