Item Description
Each bottle cap is 1.25” diameter with a flared outer edge indicating these were never sealed on the top of a bottle. This group includes Mickey, Minnie, Clarabelle and Pluto. Additional caps were issued for Goofy and Horace with each character done in two different designs so there is a total of twelve bottle caps in the set. In the mid 1930s distributors of Mickey Mouse Beverages gave away felt hats with the product name, an image of Mickey and the text “Have One With Me.” Spring pins were put into the back of the caps and then they could be worn on the hat. Each is 1” diameter and these are NM to Mint with Pluto having a slightly darker background. Included are three identical 13/16” glass domed clothing buttons with reverse color images of Mickey. A tiny bit of white paint is off the background of the first and third. The last item circa late 1950s is made like a brass clothing button but rather than a shank there are a pair of brass ears that could be attached to something. Reverse reads “Walt Disney Productions” and front displays castle and “Disneyland U.S.A.” Mint luster.
