Item Description
This National Chicle Gum premium was advertised on the company’s Tom Mix gum wrapper available for 75 coupons. Underside of the ring is inscribed “14K White Gold Finish.” This gold finish quickly wore off and that has happened to a degree on this piece but primarily only from the lower narrow bands. Top 1/3 of the ring has vast majority of the white gold tone remaining and the brass center shield reading “Tom Mix Deputy” has nice clean brass luster. The lower portion of the outer band has two very tiny bends mentioned for accuracy but so small as to be noticeable only on close inspection. Overall a Fine example but if displayed in a ring box or another type of mount visually the piece is Exc. with only the slightest white gold missing from the eagle above the shield. Higher grade examples of this ring have a consistent track record well in excess of $1000.
