Item Description
Side illustrations of Tony and a six-gun while the top brass cover has Tom’s “TM” brand. A tiny hole in the side cover is used for viewing while the ring is held towards a strong light. Inside is b/w clear photograph of Tom standing next to Tony with his facsimile written inscription below “To My Straight Shooter Pal Tom Mix” while below this are the tiny words “Made In France” which produced the tiny glass tube with photo on one end held beneath the brass cover and referred to as a Stanhope. A beautiful example with about 90% luster on the brass. It is particularly difficult to get examples with interior images as clear and crisp as this one.
