Item Description
This extensive series was issued by various bakeries, all is ©1952 Wilson R. Caskey. First is the full set of 48 waxed paper bread end labels, each 2.75x2.75".
These feature a wide variety of aircraft including jets, commercial planes and a few helicopters. Companies include: Lockheed, Martin, Grumman, Boeing, etc. Scattered trace of wear/aging but overall mostly Fine to VF. Next are four albums, each 7x8" w/20 pages for placement of the labels along w/information on aviation history and identifying planes. Each is for a different issuer w/imprints on back covers of "Taystee, Spaulding, Braun, Nissen." One is also a color variant from the other three. All are unused but two have moderate aging, VG to Fine. Other two are VF and NM. Final item is a rare ID chart issued by Betsy Ross bread and this has silhouettes of the 48 planes. You were to cut out the planes from the labels and mount them to the chart (their version of the album). First we've seen of this. Lt. wear/aging as folded. Fine. As complete a set for this issue as you will find.
