During the early days of Beatlemania, rock and roll radio disc jockey Murray The "K" (Murray Kaufman) frequently referred to himself as the fifth Beatle. Offered here is extensive fan club kit issued in 1965, w/original 9x12" photo illustrated mailing envelope that contains welcome letter, two-page "Discount Directory" list of record shops, "Music Business" magazine subscription form, glossy "Murray The 'K'...And His Friends" folder w/photos of various musicians (including The Beatles and The Rolling Stones) w/cut-out candid photos of Murray, glossy 8x10" photo w/facsimile inscription/signature, "Murray The 'K' Says! I'm What's Happening Baby!" bumper sticker, cardstock handbill for Easter Show, fan club membership certificate and card, vinyl wallet/ID holder and large 4" dia. cello button issued for the fan club and featuring photo image of Murray. Glossy and Exc. Envelope has handwritten recipient name/address label and shows moderate wear. VG/Fine. Rest show scattered handling/aging and are VF-Exc. overall.
