Item Description
This is the largest 1930s Mickey bisque produced. He stands 8.75" tall and both arms are movable. "Mickey Mouse" is incised on front edge of base, underside has original sticker w/1928-1930 Disney copyright although text is extremely faint. Missing the generic black string tail. Arms have recently been restrung and properly tensioned. Right and left sides of pants have two or three .5" long streaks of missing paint where the movable hands rubbed against the body but hands can be positioned over these areas so missing paint is not visible when viewed straight on. Otherwise has just tiny scattered paint wear, mostly from fronts of shoes. Still a bright and clean example. VF. A rare bisque we've only been able to offer about seven times over 38 years. A key piece essential to any advanced collection of 1930s Disneyana.
