Item Description
The rarest Tom Mix ring. In high grade condition, our example a year ago realized $5,686.00. However, this example has lost all white gold finish so it is overall brass. Surface has all-over pitting visible only under magnification and all details remain perfectly clear with very nice bright brass coloration. This 1933 ring was offered by the National Chicle Company and is advertised on gum wrappers with specification that 75 coupons are needed to obtain the ring. Underside of the ring is stamped "14k White Gold Finish." Hake's Character Toy book guides this at $5,200.00 Mint, $3,500.00 Fine, $1,000.00 Good. Owner set a very reasonable opening bid.
