Item Description
This is a 1" first seen celluloid button acquired from England although it might possibly be Australian in origin. Surrounding slogan reads "Stronglad Says 'Milk Tastes Better'." At center is flying image of a young boy in Superman-style outfit and red cape although also accented by a red cap on his head and a milk bottle image on his chest. He holds a milk bottle in his right hand as he soars through the air. Has a number of light tan age dots, most noticeable on the white bkg. above the figure with a 1/16" mark by his feet. While the marks are noticeable, the piece still retains its full color and full gloss. Additional but trivial surface wear only under magnification. 1940s and the only example we have seen.
