One of the great all-time ring designs with no text but attributed to Captain Marvel. c. 1946. Done in brass with adjustable bands and each side has brass lightning bolt against black enamel paint bkg. Top of the ring has high relief with slanted sides and a working compass under glass at top center. Various segments feature what seem to be rocket control panel buttons as well as several different lightning bolt designs. Ring top has lost most of bright luster but all brass surfaces remain extremely clean with nice reflective brass finish and paint is about 95% complete. Scarce and VF.
