Item Description
3x12x18.75" box has graphic, detailed color illustrations of Sheriff's office inside and out. Box lid reads "Smoky Joe Sheriff's Office Holster Set ©1955/Halpern Company Pittsburgh Pennsylvania Made In USA." Box has leather strap and metal snap to keep closed. Outside of box designed like Sheriff's office with illustrations on each side. Back shows prisoner escaping from jail. Text at top of back reads "Coming Soon Rodeo Starring Straight Shooter Smokin Joe." 10x17" additional die-cut topper fits over upright open box to hold flaps in position to give view of inside Sheriff's office with jail in center. Topper reads "Halcoville USA/Smoky Joe Check Your Guns Podner." Set comes with 8.25" long pair of die-cast nickel-plated guns marked "Smoky Joe" with translucent amber stallion grips. Grips have shrunk a bit. One gun has small trace of luster wear. Holster is 28" long cowhide with two 10" deep pockets. Pockets have large silver luster and red plastic jewels. Belt with two bullet clips holding 3 red plastic bullets each. Also comes with Smoky Joe key ring with large key and cast metal silver badge reading "Smoky Joe Sheriff" attached to die-cut cardboard that is designed to fold over to make cardboard gun. .5x.75" piece of cardboard missing. Also comes with 13.5x13.5" printed cotton kerchief with generic western themes in color. Also pair of cast metal spurs with leather laces and cuffs. Also pair of wrist cuffs with same large jewel accents as holster. Box shows slight darkening from age. Contents are Exc. and elaborare.
