Item Description
4.5x10.5x1.75" deep box with original mailing address. 5x9" wooden gun. Box sturdy with slight surface dust. Box is rare. Has Ralston mailing label. VF. Wood gun has "T.M." logo and facsimile signature on left side of grip, right side reads "Ralston Straight Shooters." Checkerboard squares on "TM" brand stamped a bit light to top. Gun opens and cylinder revolves unlike later versions. Comes with 8.5x10.5" catalogue of Straight Shooter premiums, two-sided with two order blanks on back side. Folded as issued. Also comes with 4x8" stiff paper with art illustration of Tom standing at workshop with beads of sweat, hammer in one hand, gun in other with other tools on workbench and balloon above him reads "Gosh I'm Sorry To Be So Late With This Gun, But How'd I Know Everyone In America Was Gonna Want One Of 'Em!" Typed text to right explains overwhelming request for guns. With apologies. Facsimile signature below. Right half lightly tanned. Blank reverse. Card is rare, only the third we've seen.
