Item Description
6.74x14.5x8.75" tall brown bakelite (or early similar plastic) has spring-loaded handle. 3.25x3.5" window at right reveals dial with classic painted image of Lone Ranger on Silver holding lasso saying "Hi-Yo Silver." Brown fiberboard case back shows light wear. Three of eight original screws on back have been replaced. Underside has six long narrow plastic ribs to elevate the case from the table surface. One .5" piece of one rib is missing. Not noticeable when displayed. The translucent celluloid window over the full color dial has four cracks in center. Two 2", two .5". Cover is still intact. Radio works. Even with the light wear, the case remains solid and intact. c. 1940s. VF.
