This two-piece western outfit from the 1950s was originally obtained through "Genuine Disney Auctions/Official Products Direct From The Walt Disney Company" and comes w/their certificates of authenticity. As noted on certificate this was "Worn By Mouseketeer John Joseph 'Jay-Jay' Solari Every Friday For 'Talent Roundup Day." The shirt is described as "Custom-mad Twill, Faux-pearl Snaps And Nametag Stitched Over The Right Pocket." The pants are described as "Custom-made Twil, Brown Piping And Faux-pearl Snaps/Writing Inside The Waistband Indentifies The Mouseketeer." Both items have minor aging/wear from use during television production but no serious defects. VF. Comes w/an 8x10 bw photo of the cast wearing these outfits. Also included, but not purchased from the Disney Auction, is a 5" tall tin litho "Special Deputy Mouseketeer" badge. This is like the badges worn by the cast (see item #1777) but also came w/store bought 1950s Mouseketeer outfits by L. M. Eddie Mfg. Lt aging w/some pinpoint scattered paint nicks. Fine. A historic piece of Disney/television memorabilia.
