Item Description
Set of seven different cereal box back panels from Pep Whole Wheat Flakes Cereal. Five of the back panels feature a pair of numbered cut-out "Plane Spotter" cards from a series of 44. Included are Grumman F6F "Hellcat" #39, Curtiss So3C "Seagull" #40, Grumman F4F-4 "Wildcat" #41, Northrop A-17A #42, Martin B-26 "Marauder" #17, Bell P-39 "Aircobra" #18, Lockheed B-34 "Ventura" #28, Martin A-30 "Baltimore" #26, North American P-51 "Mustang" #13, and Lockheed A-29 "Hudson" #14. Back Panel also features larger images of the planes that appear on the cards. The other two panels feature "Uncle Sam's Paratroops" with a bottom graphic on the gun turrets of the B-17, and "Aircraft Carrier Landing Signals" with a bottom listing on "Carrier Slang". The panels are overall VF with some having uneven margin trimming and age tanning on three of the cards.
