Item Description
Lot of 2. 3.50” X 3.50” soft cover BLB format with color front cover with back cover with text noting that book was obtained for 12 ice cream cone coupons. Both were published by Whitman in 1938. First book is “Dan Dunn Secret Operative 48 and the Counterfeiter Ring” and “Tim McCoy Fighting the Red Skins.” Dan Dunn has some light wear and aging with a FN cover and VF content. Tim McCoy has some moderate wear with vertical creasing to front and back cover and penciled name on inside front cover. Cover also has a ½” tear on right hand margin of front cover. Small section of insect damage at bottom right hand corner which continues for first 60 pages of book. Cover also has faint area of moisture staining on left hand side of Tim McCoy’s face on cover. VG.
