Item Description
3.50” X 8.50” two hole punched card has nice sepia tone image of Superman and text “Invite Superman into your classroom. This popular comic book, radio and cartoon character continues to promote and support the Schools at War programs through special incentives designed to encourage patriotism in students through grade seven. This was printed 1943-1944. Card has ink stamp “Mrs. Eugenia Holden Vail G. S.” stamped at bottom. Card has some extremely light wear with crease in upper right hand corner and lower left hand corner. Otherwise card is VF/Exc. Unlisted in the Hake guide. Rare and first we’ve seen.
