Item Description
From the collection of Sen. Phil Arthurhultz, and comes with certificate signed by him and Ted Hake. 7” x 9” x 4.75” deep vinyl domed lunch box unmarked but 1960’s. Box, designed to look like a service station, has images of gas pumps, mechanic working on car, and lunch box dome has garage parking. Lid hinge has a ½” split and ¼” split as well as a 2.25” split with two smaller 1/8” splits. Left hand side panel has a ¾” seam split but this is hardly noticeable. This side also has a ¾” area of seam missing but this does not compromise box's integrity. Top of box has a 3/8” spilt on right, but these splits do not greatly detract from image of box, which still retains its original shape. Box is FN with a VF appearance. Sen. Phil knows of five or six example of this box, which is very uncommon in this nice condition.
