Item Description
From the collection of Sen. Phil Arthurhultz, and comes with certificate signed by him and Ted Hake. 8” x 8.75” x 3.50” vinyl lunch box made by Ponytail/Mattel in 1962. Rare lunch box features images of Barbie in different costumes as well as large facial image. Lunch box has flap on side which reveals separate thermos compartment. Lunch box has vinyl carry straps, similar to that of a purse. Box has pair of ¼” splits at top lid hinge as well as thermos compartment flap. Box has some light wear with tarnish to some metal areas but still and VF/Exc. example. Sen. Phil knows of one other recently found example of this box. Rare.
