Item Description
From the collection of Sen. Phil Arthurhultz, and comes with certificate signed by him and Ted Hake. 7” x 9” x 4” deep vinyl lunch box with 8” tall metal thermos with plastic cap. Manufactured by King-Seeley Thermos Company copyright 1963 P.A.T. Ward Productions. Nice box features image of Bullwinkle in “Space Peace Corp” spacesuit on the moon planting US flag and posing with one foot on Boris who’s on the ground holding fallen “Boris” sign. Two rockets appear in background and in foreground are Gidney & Cloyd, the aliens from Rocky & Bullwinkle holding sign reading “Welcome Earth-lings!” Side panel features Rocky in “Rocky USA” space capsule and left hand side panel features images of Mr. Peabody attending “Peabody” rocket. Box has some very light wear to inside but is essentially Exc/N. Mint, with no cracks to vinyl. Thermos features Rocky & Bullwinkle on satellites, one of which is marked “Telstar.” Plastic cap of thermos has some light wear but no cracks. Thermos has some streaks of discoloration around bottom of base and seam. Also has some scattered hairline scratches and small paint nicks. FN. This lunch box is scarce in this condition.
