Item Description
5” X 27” X 1.25” deep box contains 25.75” long plastic silver rifle that has “Roy Rogers” incised on left hand side of the stock with gold speckled paint. Manufactured by Marx circa mid 1950’s. Box shows text on rifle that reads “Roy Rogers Cap shooting carbine rifle.” Box also states that barrel smoke and cap shooting unit is completely enclosed. This area has some nice relief scroll work including image of cowboy on horseback with rifle and Pony Express rider on the other side with Buffalo and name “Wild West.” Stock has some scattered small scratches and some loss to luster to handle. Overall VF appearance. Box has some heavy and obvious wear including creases, tears, and some small moisture stains. Box is aged and has some color rubs. VG.
