Item Description
Lot of 7 from 1920s-1930s from .5" to 1". All USA issues but no maker's name. All with captions translated from Yiddish or Hebrew. First is 1" with light stain on lower right. Reads "Second Ekar Bazar 29-30-31 October 1926." Second reads "Ekar" and is 7/8" showing two Jewish farmers with horse and plow. Third is 5/8" reading "Ekar" with wheat sheaf behind hammer and sickle. Fourth has same design as third but is 11/16" litho reading "A. Gross-Jewish Soviet Biro-bidjean." Fifth is 9/16" litho "Greetings To The 15th Year Of Ekar 1924-1939." Sixth is enamel on brass .5" with hanger reading "I Am Expressing Greetings On The 10th Year Of Biro-Bidjean-Ekar 1928-1938." Seventh same as sixth but no hanger bar. Mint except for first item.
