Item Description
Lot of five. First is 27" felt pennant detailed image of Zeppelin with text including "Lakehurst N.J." Evenly worn and a bit light. Second is 4.5x6" folder printed and written in German. Unfolds to reveal ten black and white glossy postcards. Perforated, remain attached. 5.75"x50" overall unfolded. Light wear to outside of folder with clear tape reinforcment. Postcards remain glossy and bright. Next is 4x6" paper baggage sticker with colorful illustration area for name and address. Printed in German. Clean and unused. Last is 12x22" folded as issued broadside with text at top including "Airmail Information In Connection With The Voyage Of The Airship Graf Zeppelin." Text also includes "From Germany Via Brazil To 'A Century Of Progress' Exposition In Chicago, Ill., USA And Returned To Europe." Also included is schedule of voyage and air mail costs. Comes in original postally used mailing envelope with 1933 cancellation. Envelope shows light surface dust. Exc.
