10.25" tall polished white metal with nicely detailed design of USA rocket which has small spring-loaded slot on left side to propell coin into the moon 'bank.' Metal ring around moon has astronauts' names "Shepard, Grissom, Glenn, Carpenter, Schirra, Cooper." Top side of same ring has text "Commemorating Lt. Col. John H. Glenn Jr.'s Triumphant Triple Orbit Of The Earth February 20, 1962." Front of base has brown/black sticker for bank in Iowa. Inside base has text "Model 1000 Destination Moon Bank/Direct Hit April 20-1962." Working and Exc.
