Auction #182 - Part I
Item numbers 1 through 1499 in auction 182
Item Description
1.25" with wonderful color, one of the best farm equipment buttons ever made titled "A Winning Harvest Hand" in text at top while over the wheat field scene below is "Four Jacks And A 'Queen' Not In The Trust." Depicts four brown mules pulling large hay cutter with back panel reading "Acme Queen." This beautiful N. Mint example is complete with the backpaper unique to this button reading "Any Harvest Hand Can Win If He Will Use Acme Binders, Mowers, Headers Or Hay Tools Made By Acme Harvesting Machine Co." One of the few we've seen with this backpaper intact and the piece is in marvelous condition. Undated but from the very early 1900s.
