Auction #186 - Part II
Item numbers 897 through 2517 in auction 186
Item Description
Early item c. 1937 is 2.75" tall very large and very impressive highly embossed brass front depicting spread-winged eagle above large shield with high relief Tracy portrait and text "Dick Tracy Detective Club." Riveted to the reverse is a leather pouch for change or other special object. Pouch has leather closure flap with a brass snap fastener. Fastener is here but below is .5" tear in leather. Doesn't show because it is covered by flap end. Stitching gone from outer edge but rivets hold all pieces in place. Flap has two tiny holes for a brass pin but also gone. Bit of surface color rubbed off flap area. Front remains Exc. with gorgeous deep luster over the high relief design.
