Item Description
Lot of three. First is 4x9" envelope sent from Los Angeles cancelled 1946 with headquarters return address. Torn open at back with light surface dust. Enclosed 8.5x11" letter with personal message from Virginia Sullivan, secretary to Roy Rogers with regrets of the inavailability of more than one fan photo per request. This fan had requested 4 photos. Enclosed was only one 3.25x5.25" photo with facsimile signature and inscription. Interesting to note that the name "Mary" has been nicely added to the inscription. Recipient of this letter was "Miss Mary Hunte." Photo remains glossy and crisp. Letter and photo Exc. First we've seen.
