Item Description

9.75x10" by David McKay Co. ©1931. 78 pages featuring reprints of Floyd Gottfredson daily strips in bw from 1930-31 including the famous two-week sequence in which Mickey tries to commit suicide.Cardboard covers with ad on inside front for "The Adventures of Mickey Mouse" book. Title page plus 5 other pageshave some neat crayoning. Pages lightly tanned, light margin wear but contents remain clean. Scattered trace of cover wear/aging with some light corner creases and edge nicks. Inside front cover has pulled loose from staples but all remains complete and firmly intact. Front cover has a pair of very faint .5" moisture spots on border design, Mickey has some purple coloring added to hand and flowers he holds. Also has name in crayon on top margin. Still a very solid copy overall. Cover VG. Contents Fine.
