Item Description
Beautiful 1.25" sepia without dot pattern pictures man in racing uniform seated on bicycle. His name below reads "Faithful Gadke" and he is endorsing "Moffet Ball Roller Bearings." Backpaper by Whitehead & Hoag was used only 1898-1900. Paper has several small cuts but all the text is there. Cello is clean and glossy N. Mint. This and item #896 are among the very few real photos of early bicycle racers.
