Item Description
11" long tin litho by Nomura, Japan. 1950s. Right side of box has dent with some light creases to the lid. Box also has tiny trace of staple rust but remains tight and clean. Fine. Car's grille and trunk detailed by Mercedes emblems, trunk also marked "300SL." Driver has arms attached to the steering wheel and as car travels forward he moves as if steering. Friction works although string used to hold the arm pieces together stretched a bit and would benefit from being re-strung. Car also has manually steerable front wheels. A few tiny scattered paint nicks. Still N. Mint appearance. Great design.
