Item Description
9" tall mostly tin litho with fabric/plush-covered body. 1950s by Yonezowa, Japan. Toy is complete, old store stock. Light box wear/aging, VF. Toy depicts teddy bear wearing beret seated behind a detailed desk featuring images of paint brushes and paint, on top is finished picture of a rabbit. Comes with numerous accessory pieces including sketch book, crayons, picture sheet and set of 9 die-cut metal "patterns" of different animals. These are inserted into the base of the toy and cause the bear to draw an outline of that particular animal. Toy even comes with the original instruction sheet. Base corners have some small factory paint touch-ups but toy remains N. Mint. One of the most elaborate 1950s battery toys.
