Item Description
8.5" tall painted tin toy with built-in key by Nifty, Germany. ©1924 International Features Service Inc. Each side of body is marked "Rudy/DeBeck." From the Barney Google comic strip by Billy DeBeck. Toy works and when wound, walks forward as his lower bill (which is a separate piece) bobs. Top of head is complete with pair of metal tabs which serve as accent feathers. Scattered trace of aging with small paint nicks/scratches. Blue a bit lighter on one side. Overall working and Fine.
