Item Description
10.75x13" b/w glossy paper sheet c. 1956 copyright National Comics Publications Inc. Sheet features four different classic Superman images that were used on many different merchandise items along w/three different sized logos. Designs are printed both horizontally and vertically on the sheet. Slightest margin wear from handling and a 1” tear to left margin. VF. A great piece for framing. 8.75x9.25" tissue paper sheet w/large transfer image of Superman and rocket ship behind him while his name appears across the top. 1950s © National Comics Publications Inc. Right margin has 1.5" tear just below his cape, bottom right corner has .5" tear w/small .25x.25" piece missing although transfer image is complete. There are a few lt. corner creases but sheet is clean and unused. Overall Fine and image remains Exc. This item is a file copy from the Gold archives and is accompanied by a letter to that effect signed by Gordon Gold.
