Item Description
1.75" issued in conjunction with "Elk's Harvest Festival Nov. 9 To 14 1908." Pictured below symbolic lodge image of elk is a "U.S. Mail" rail car with text below "Compliments Of The Railway Mail Service." Printing and image was once likely a deeper shade of purple, symbolic of the group's colors, but quite flat making just the slightest perceptible bump on the right edge when viewed from the front. Earliest image we've seen of a "U.S. Mail" railway car.
