Item Description
7.5x10.25x3.5" deep hard plastic lunchbox by Universal/Landers, Frary & Clark c. 1965. Box lid and back have a recessed area with a "stitch" border and a pebbled surface. Lid has a 4x5" sticker showing a cannon crew during the US Civil War and has text "Civil War 1861-1865." Sticker has a slight ripple but is essentially N. Mint. Box top has remnant of price sticker and has original sticker which reads "New! Dent Proof, Rust Proof, Virtually Unbreakable, Easy To Clean." This sticker has some light aging due to glue. Interior of box has a plastic molded separation for thermos. Box has some light wear but no cracks and is essentially N. Mint. This lunchbox is very rare and Senator Phil has only seen 3 examples, this being in nicest condition. Comes with certificate signed by Senator Arthurhultz and Ted Hake.
