Item Description
1" reads "Sir Ross Smiths Flight. Hear The Story And See The Film." No maker and no paper, likely as issued. Ross was WWI combat, bombing and reconnaissance pilot. After the war, he made pioneering Cairo to Calcutta flight. Button issued to promote his win of 1919 air race from England to Australia for which he was knighted. He died in 1922 air crash. Trivial wear only in reflected light. Only one seen. Rare and Exc.
