Item Description
Lot of five tin litho sand pails. Larges is 8" tall, remainder are 5" tall. 1950s/1960s. Largest shows children in beach scenes. This has some paint nicks on rim and handle as well as bit of oxidation on the handle. Two others apparently done by the same artist picture children having a picnic on the beach and children diving around a chest full of gold coins. Next shows boy and girl against backdrop of flowers each holding a small sand pail. Last pail in this lot is a bit unusual as lithographed design of children in yard has raised areas in the paint. This is the only one not by Ohio Art and is unmarked, possibly foreign. The handle of this one also has a bit of wear/oxidation. Aside from the few minor problems mentioned, there is minimal wear. Old store stock. Exc./NM.
