Item Description
8.25x11" from 1937 by Collins. 96 stiff paper pages, mostly in bw with one additional color added that varies throughout the book. Nice full color frontispiece. Features text stories with illustrations, comic panel stories, full page illustrations, puzzles and games, cut-outs, etc. Donald Duck is featured along with Silly Symphony characters such as Tortoise and the Hare, Cock Robin, Robber Kitten, Peculiar Penguins and many others. Nice two-page feature titled "Meet Uncle Walt" with image of him drawing and border design features character portraits. Cut-outs include postcards and paperdolls but all are intact. Nice front cover art, back is bw ad for other Disney Collins books. Has some neat coloring throughout, few puzzle pages done. Contents have moderate margin aging. Cover has obvious dust soiling and moderate scattered wear. Mostly white backcover has noticeable aging with 2x5" moisture stain at top. Cover VG, contents about Fine. Nice book.
