Item Description
The early 1930s German-made bowl is restored but gorgeous. 8" dia. by very deep 1.75" with three divided sections. Upper thin edges of the section dividers had numerous chips but these are restored with near perfect color match. Large black oval stamp underneath "Made In Germany" and name of very early Disney licensed importer "Richard G. Kruger N.Y." Displays glossy and Mint and the only one we've ever seen. Second is 1930s English-made 7" plate marked underneath "Royal Paragon China - Mickey Mouse Series." Depicts Mickey and Minnie dancing with title "Happy Days Are Here Again" and this same image also appears on a sandwich plate which we offered in Auction #188. Small loss of color on the images. Title is a bit light but distinct. Signature "Walter E. Disney" light but readable. Rare and Fine with full gloss.
